I can't beilieve what a wonderful weather we had here yesterday!!18C..I hope that we have this great temperature for "charshanbeh soori"..can't wait for that:)when I got back to school yesterday, everyone knew I had an interview in the lab!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and I have not told any one!!and it was Dr. Roy's doing;)he talked to Sally and she told him about it and he came and announced it to the whole lab!!!!no secrecy can be done around here;)anyways today is Mohandes tour of Dr. Arabi's lab..it should be interesting..I am sure it would be suprizing for him as well;)anyhow...can't wait to hear about this job..Dr. Roy was saying that I would get the job...and I sure hope so...he said in this industry word of mouth works the best;)
*****************
Note to self: if they asked you about your rate..don't answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I don't know why I would answer all the questions asked in the interveiw....there are question in life that should not be answered even if you know the answer if the timing is not right..(this is my new lesson of the day)
anyways can't wait for Mohandes Party and I hope ISU do a better job at organizing new year's party this year unlike last year..

Interviews!
well yesterday's interview was very relaxed since two guys who I think were a bit older than me interviewed me..it wasn't technical at all..and one of them was suprized how I knew about their process!!one of the guys was a mech eng from U of T and the other an Elec from Western...in situations like this..where I don't know the people I start making up jokes to make every one laugh and change the mood from being formal to a more friendly environment..;)anyways..I am not sure when they will tell me about the result..but the funny thing was that on paper you think wow such an amazing process and when you are actually in the place, it is soooooooo ordinary and not advanced..I mean it's amazing how you can come up with your own business here!!they where very nice people but I really don't think if I go there, I would stay for long..I don't really see any room for improvement..I mean I am sure I will learn alot there but it's kinda scary being in a small company..well to me it is...:)
This morning was another interview with a real chemical plant:)when my dad and I passed by it I was soooo happy. You may think I am wiered but really seeing those big reactors and huge dryers and all the raw material which in their case was recycled stuff, was great..I love companies whose raw material is the recycel or the waste of others..since instead of piling on top of others waste, they are actually keeping the waste constant in the cycle:)
anyways they said they are going to test me!!!so before going there I was very nervous I was trying to read over the books and the notes I had for pulp and paper course I had last year but at the end made me more nervous:(...anyways guess what the test was on??if I tell you would laugh....okay it was a simple math test..like the subtraction, addition, multiplication and division...but with no calculator!!!!!okay not using a calculater after 7 years!!and a personality test and after that a problem solving test...anyways I think those were the formality because finally the real talking interview was with an HR person who asked me questions on my resume and finally talked about the job...she said in her experience engineers either like the office work or the plant work and asked me which one I want:)guess which one I took!!
Of course the plant one...he said it will be hot and humid and dirty..but I don't mind..if I want to learn the real hard core engineering practice I have to get dirty:) I have been in a pulp plant I know how it looks like...its not worse than a food plant...trust me..not interms of dirtyness but interms of noise...once we went to Campbell soup plant..you would get a headache after 30 sec...because of the noise level!!!anyways..I can't wait to here from this plant..they said I will have another interview if they wanted me with the technical people!!!so I hope I get chosen...interestingly enough I didn't feel like they won't want to hire me because I was a girl...since in the job description they were saying the want some one strong!!!!

sooooooo many good news...I have noticed through my scientific observations that I have a luck cycle;)!!! meaning that my luck has max and min limits it kinda goes like a sin graph!!and right now it is at its maximum!!!I have got 4 job interviews in the past week!!!starting today I am going to one of them:)so pray for me..it seems exciting and better than that is the fact that it is in Toronto..anyways can't talk much..have to study their process;) don't forget to pray, okay?
